I went through menopause a couple of years ago and recently had a period. Is this normal?

Menopause is defined as not having a menstrual period for one year. Any subsequent uterine bleeding is considered abnormal and should be investigated. The most serious cause fo postmenopausal bleeding is uterine cancer. Other possible causes include infection, polyps, benign tumors, hormone and steroid therapy, and anticoagulant therapy.
